Achieving that fuss-free setup meant embracing a lot of secondhand furniture rather than buying new. Most of my workspace is sourced from Facebook Marketplace or salvaged for free from a school where I used to work, which is where I got my heavy-duty sewing desk. Interestingly, a lot of the other pieces are actually from Ikea, including my drawers, cutting table, chair, pegboards, trolley, and shelving unit. The absolute best part? Buying them all secondhand meant they came pre-assembled, so I didn't have to endure the headache and chaos of building a single piece. I took some photos of the final setup, and Iām genuinely happy with how it turned out.
